Nuclear Medicine Radiologist - Partnership Track

Position Description:

Charlotte Radiology, a large (>100 physician) subspecialty-based radiology practice, is seeking an ABR certified or eligible fellowship-trained nuclear medicine radiologist. The successful candidate will be an integral member of our 5-physician nuclear medicine section and will be based at our flagship hospital in Charlotte, NC.

Nuclear Section Highlights:
  • Wide range of general nuclear medicine and PET-CT including neuro and pediatrics.
  • Large volume of PET-CT from 4 fixed scanners and 1 mobile scanner including FDG, DOTATATE, PSMA, and FES.
  • Rapidly growing oncology volumes from our partnership with Levine Cancer Institute.
  • Hybrid siting with ability to read PET-CT virtually.
  • Virtual multi-disciplinary tumor board involvement.
  • Section currently protocols and interprets for 10 separate nuclear medicine departments throughout Atrium Health
  • Nuclear Section members rotate into General/Body Shifts. No Mammo, MSK or Neuro required.

Position Requirements:
  • ABR certified or eligible
  • Fellowship trained in Nuclear Medicine
  • Expertise in interpretation of PET/CT, SPECT/CT, and diagnostic nuclear medicine
  • General radiology interpretation skills
  • Highly motivated team player
