Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the day-to-day operations of the Cardiovascular ICU and SDU, ensuring successful implementation of strategy, policy, direction, and action planning.
- Uphold and meet the Health System's Guiding Behaviors and Caring Standards, demonstrating professionalism in interpersonal communication and conduct.
- Effectively execute established plans and services by analyzing, measuring, and monitoring department performance, and adjusting direction and resource allocation as needed.
- Facilitate and manage team performance by applying Total Quality, Human Resources, and financial techniques to drive success and meet performance goals.
- Establish and maintain positive and productive working relationships ensuring smooth operations and collaboration.
- Contribute to the development of strategic and tactical plans in alignment with the overall organizational planning processes.
- Serve as the liaison to Senior Management and the Medical Staff, ensuring effective communication and alignment with the functional areas of responsibility.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable SARMC policies and procedures, maintaining regulatory standards and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Idaho or multistate RN license (must establish Idaho residency within 6 months if applicable).
- Bachelor's in Nursing (Master's preferred).
- 5+ years of nursing experience, 2+ years in a leadership role (preferred).
- BLS certification; ACLS and PALS required within designated timelines.
