- Coordinate nursing care with other healthcare disciplines to improve continuity of care.
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, and workload management, considering scope of practice, patient needs, and care complexity.
- Provide orientation, training, and performance evaluations for nursing staff, offering continuous feedback and professional development opportunities.
- Manage departmental budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation.
- Promote evidence-based practice through research, policy implementation, and staff engagement.
- Encourage open communication and staff collaboration, fostering a culture of shared accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare operations, compliance, and evidence-based practices.
- Ability to supervise and mentor nursing colleagues, ensuring high-quality patient care.
