We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Mother-Baby Unit. This role offers the opportunity to oversee a dynamic team and make a lasting impact in a premier facility known for its excellence in maternal and newborn care.
Position Highlights
- Leadership & Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations of the Mother-Baby Unit, with support from 4 Clinical Nurse Coordinators (CNCs) and relief charge nurses
- Patient-Centered Care: Champion safe, high-quality postpartum and newborn care, ensuring exceptional patient and family experiences
- Collaborative Culture: Partner with interdisciplinary teams to implement evidence-based maternal and neonatal health practices
- Operational Management: Oversee staffing, payroll, budgeting, and efficient resource allocation, while fostering a positive, team-driven culture
Qualifications
- Experience: 2-5 years of recent acute care leadership experience in a Mother-Baby Unit required; prior supervisory experience preferred
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred
- Licensure/Certifications:
- Active Texas RN license or compact multistate license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
