Schedule: 6:45am-3:15pm, Weekends and holidays as needed

Salary: $114,400 - $150,000

We seek a dynamic and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our nursing team and ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. The Nurse Manager holds 24/7 accountability for unit operations, including daily workflows, strategic initiatives, financial performance, and patient and staff experience. This role requires exceptional leadership, collaboration, and organizational skills to drive compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while supporting the organization's mission, vision, and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Operations:
    • Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure adherence to emergency/disaster response protocols.
    • Collaborate with interprofessional teams to execute policies and procedures effectively.
    • Supervise front-line staff while ensuring high standards of patient care delivery.
  • Quality and Compliance:
    • Monitor nursing standards of practice, policies, and protocols to ensure compliance with all internal and external regulations.
    • Lead quality improvement initiatives and drive performance outcomes aligned with organizational goals.
  • Financial and Resource Management:
    • Develop, implement, and monitor budgetary priorities, including staffing, scheduling, payroll, and resource management.
    • Promote cost-effective use of organizational resources while supporting financial targets.
  • Education and Staff Development:
    • Evaluate and oversee educational programs, evidence-based practices, and professional development opportunities for nursing staff in collaboration with the Department of Education.
    • Mentor, coach, and support team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Strategic Initiatives:
    • Support organizational priorities, including Magnet Program goals, shared governance initiatives, and data collection for performance improvement.
    • Lead or participate in committees and projects to implement strategic initiatives that align with patient care objectives.
  • Patient and Family Experience:
    • Professionally address patient and family concerns, ensuring timely follow-up and service recovery efforts.
    • Demonstrate a patient-focused approach while upholding the highest standards of care and professionalism.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
    • Consistently adhere to competencies, standards of behavior, and organizational values.
Qualifications:

Required:
  • Current New Jersey RN License
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience as a Registered Nurse with three (3) years of progressive leadership experience
  • Strong skills in adaptability, accountability, teamwork, and ongoing professional growth
  • Passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care

Preferred:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • National Certification in area of specialty (or eligibility to obtain certification)
