Description:
Tanner Health System is recruiting a full-time Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant to work at Tanner Primary Care of Bremen in a clinic-based position.
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant provides patient services through the performance of patient evaluation, assessment and treatment in the medical office setting as allowed by state licensure laws under the supervision of the medical director. The nurse practitioner/physician assistant works closely with the clinic staff, hospital departments and community agencies.
Structure of position: * Schedule:
- Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
* Primary office location in Bremen, GA
* Will carry own patient base as well as cover for other providers when they are not in clinic
* Excellent clinical, administrative and management support
* Tanner utilizes EPIC EMR systemwide

Education
Master's Degree
Completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
Experience
Six months of related experience preferred
Licenses & Certifications
*Georgia Registered Nurse License (for NP)
*Georgia Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant License
*Healthcare Provider (CPR)
Qualifications
*Able to communicate effectively with medical and hospital staff and various populations in clinics and public screening events.
*ACLS recommended.
*Additional certification will be required for some specialties (i.e. ACLS, PALS)
*Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in Georgia
*Graduate of a recognized program for Nurse Practitioner training (MSN) or Physician Assistant program.
*Must be capable of dealing tactfully and effectively with patients, family members, other employees and physicians
*Must maintain high degree of confidentiality.
*Must meet credentialing criteria.
*Must possess the cognitive ability to understand patient medical records, physician orders and medical orders to be communicated to patient, hospital and/or other physician.
*Must possess the sense or discipline to work in accordance with accepted clinical standards.
*Prior experience in a like specialty preferred.
