Responsibilities
Be part of our highly collaborative team of Pulmonary/Critical Care providers (MD's and APP's)
This is a blended position serving our eICU Service Center with some rotation for Critical Care inpatients
- Typically (3) 12 hr shifts. Template for days, nights, weekends and holiday rotation
33% will be day eICU; 33% will be day IP, 33% will be night eICU - Evaluate patients, new consults, round on existing IP's
- Opportunity to become credentialed to perform procedures (arterial lines, intubations, Central Lines at the bedside without physician oversight).
- IP coverage with Immanuel/Mercy/Lakeside - Rotation those campuses
- Average IP volume 5-6 pts in morning; 2-3 pts in afternoon
- No on call
- Rotational holidays
- "Service center" is located across from CUMC Bergan campus
