Nurse Practitioner - Oncology (Renton, WA) 1.0 FTE
Valley Medical Center (VMC) is actively recruiting a full-time (1.0 FTE) Nurse Practitioner - Oncology to join our established, collaborative, and collegial team of providers. Our approach to patient-centered care is team-based. You will be working in the Oncology Clinic and the Infusion Center. When in clinic, you will have a dedicated Medical Assistant. The Commission on Cancer has accredited our program as meeting and beating their standards.

COMPENSATION: $130,000 - $150,000
Amounts listed may include productivity, quality incentives, extra shift incentives as applicable to the position.

About the position:
- Clinic Hours: 8a-5p
- General Schedule 4 days per week (10 hours), no weekends
- Average # of patients seen per day: 10-14
- Full clinic support is available and includes MAs in the clinic and a nurse navigator support for triage.
- Palliative care is embedded in the Oncology Clinic
- We have triage nursing, financial coordinators, and treatment authorizers.
- PharmD embedded in the infusion center and the Clinic.
- Support subspecialties with IR, GI, therapeutic and diagnostic interventionist, colorectal surgeons, and breast surgeons
- Busy practice with lots of growth opportunities
- Practitioners: 5 Medical Oncologists, and one Medical Oncology APP, one Gynecology Oncology APP and 2 radiation oncologists.
Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain medical professional license in the State of WA and DEA with full prescriptive authority
- At least one year of oncology experience is strongly preferred
- Experience managing chemo toxicities strongly preferred
