Job Description
St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a full timeMLP (PA or NP)for ourSt. Mary's Medical Management Women Family Department. The MLP promotes excellence in patient care by advancing the quality, efficient, and cost-effective care, and scope of medical practice through clinical practice, education, consultation, research, and administrative roles. Assists supervising physician in the management of patients, and performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of the physician.
Requirements
EDUCATION:
Graduate of an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant program and holds a current license in the State of West Virginia. Attains and maintains limited prescriptive privileges according to the West Virginia Code.
EXPERIENCE:
Three (3) to Five (5) years' experience preferred.
SKILLS:
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, staff and other health care providers. Ability to use equipment needed for a thorough physician examination. Behaviors which reflect understanding, emotional stability, patience, tact and consideration for individual difference. BLS and ACLS required.
