Description:
This role involves overseeing and delivering primary care to BMG patients at designated work sites under the supervision of the Practice Manager/Director for administrative aspects and the Practice Site Physician for clinical oversight. The professional coordinates patient care, working collaboratively with the physician, to manage both acute and long-term medical needs. Responsibilities include taking patient histories, performing physical exams, ordering diagnostic tests, administering medications and injections, and providing health education to patients and families. The role also involves maintaining patient records, ensuring continuity of care, and assisting in medical emergencies.
Additionally, the individual will assist in BMG program operations, including education, statistical data maintenance, and quality improvement initiatives. They will contribute to developing clinical protocols and participate in interdisciplinary care conferences. The position requires participation in department meetings, completion of mandatory education, maintaining certifications, and adherence to organizational policies.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Nursing, an active RN license, and Nurse Practitioner certification. A Master's in Nursing and bilingual skills are preferred. The role demands strong clinical skills, the ability to work in a dynamic clinic environment, and the physical ability to meet the demands of patient care.
