SALARY RANGE: 143,894.40 - 223,038.40YEARLY
General Summary:
Works collaboratively with the general cardiologists, interventional cardiologists, and electrophysiologists. Manages cardiac rhythm implantable device patients for both in-office and remote monitoring evaluations. The Nurse Practitioner, within a collaborative model, provides quality care and improves patient outcomes by strengthening the continuity of care in all settings for patients, families, and staff in both the hospital and physician practice settings.
Responsibilities:
1. In-office interrogation and testing of cardiac rhythm implantable devices per industry guidelines.
2. Evaluate and process remote reports for cardiac rhythm implantable devices per industry guidelines, including assessing and triaging urgent issues found on remote reports.
3. In-office site evaluation, interrogation and testing of cardiac rhythm implantable devices, and patient education after cardiac rhythm implant device procedures.
4. Signing MRI guideline orders for cardiac rhythm implantable device patients.
5. Providing written guidance for surgeries and procedures for cardiac rhythm implantable device patients.
6. Answering clinical questions about cardiac rhythm implantable devices from patients and other providers.
7. Upholds the professional code of ethics.
8. Keeps all licenses/certifications up to date (including ACLS and PALS, if applicable).
9. All other duties as assigned within the scope and range of job responsibilities.

Required Education, Credential(s) and Experience:
- Education: Master Degree

; - Credential(s): Basic Life Support
Registered Nurse

Nurse Practitioner - Controlled Substances Registration
; - Experience:
Required: Two (2) years of cardiology experience.
Preferred: Electrophysiology experience.
