Our ideal Nurse Practitioner candidate will be a licensed independent practitioner skilled in managing health issues and coordinating patient care in compliance with state and federal regulations and nursing standards of care. Clinical management and treatment will be carried out in collaboration with our dedicated healthcare team members.

At least three years of clinical experience or clinical perioperative is required; a minimum of two years of experience in the Nurse Practitioner role is strongly preferred.

  • The following education requirements are considered essential:
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing school or an accredited nurse practitioner program.
  • Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure in the state of Maine.
  • Current nurse practitioner certification in a specialty area.
  • DEA registration.
  • Current provider card in BLS and ACLS, PALS provider card as required by department and facility.
