Job Description:
The purpose of this position is to provide exceptional health and wellness services to patients within the boundaries of the collaborative practice agreement. The nurse practitioner should provide timely, efficient, and courteous patient care while maintaining patient confidentiality. This individual must have the ability and willingness to work as a team. The NP must keep timely collaborative chart review logs. This individual must maintain effective communication within departments, with supervisors and coworkers. This individual is required to always follow the organization's dress code. This individual is required to interact appropriately with physicians and other provider staff as well as supervisory staff, and when problems arise must direct them first to their immediate supervisor. Ability to document relevant problem focused or comprehensive history from patient/medical records. Ability to order appropriate laboratories and diagnostic studies. Analyzes data to determine health status. Perform an accurate physical exam. Demonstrates up-to-date clinical knowledge. Establishes a patient relationship characterized by mutual respect, empathy, and collaboration. Takes initiative for seeking opportunities to advance knowledge and experiences. Effective oral and written communication skills. Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details, meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates, knowledge and experience using electronic medical records and information systems to provide superior patient care documentation.
Education/Credentials:
Master's Degree
Valid prescription authority in MO
AANP or ANCC accreditation
Advanced Practice Nurse license in state of MO
BLS

1-3 Years Experience
