Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care according to established standards, protocols, and practices.
- Take medical histories, assess medical conditions, and interpret findings.
- Provide evidence-based clinical decisions while adhering to organizational quality measures.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough written clinical documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients, peers, and other stakeholders, both orally and in writing.
- Utilize electronic health records and other computer systems for patient management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or physician assistant program.
- Valid licensure in the state of practice.
- Ability to obtain any necessary certifications and registrations.
- Strong knowledge of nursing or physician assistant theory and practice, with experience in providing professional clinical care.
- Ability to provide culturally competent care to a diverse patient population.
- Strong skills in medical assessment and history taking.
- Proven success in clear communication with patients and other healthcare professionals.
- Familiarity with electronic health records and other relevant computer systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in an ambulatory or urgent care setting (1-2 years).
- Bilingual skills (Spanish preferred).
- APRN or PA license (preferred).
