Plans, organizes, directs and administers all functions of a twenty-four hour addictive disorders inpatient facility.
Coordinates work by assuring the scheduling of assignments through the direction of subordinate supervisors.
Administers the development of budget recommendations for operating services, capital outlay, personnel services, equipment and materials for the facility.
Assures the maintenance of records, preparation of reports and correspondence regarding the services and progress of the facility through direction of subordinate supervisors.
Meets with officials of state and local agencies, professional organizations and interest groups on matters relating to the facility.
Interprets, implements and monitors agency policy in keeping with state and federal guidelines.
Conducts staff meetings and conferences with subordinate supervisory personnel to discuss and resolve operating problems, organization, budgetary matters, personnel problems, technical problems, and the status of services.
Reviews and recommends staff selection, disciplinary actions, and special staff development needs with Regional Administrator.
Assures that the safety, security, meals, housing, personal affairs and general well being of patients are provided according to licensing standards. Assures that the facility is in accordance with all licensing standards.
Monitors contractual agreements for professional services with individuals and agencies.
Receives, reviews, and takes appropriate action on daily status reports from subordinate section supervisors.
