License: Current/valid state Occupational Therapist licensure
Certifications:
- BLS - American Heart Association
- Preferred: Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) endorsed by the American Heart Association
Must-Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school
- Proficiency in English (Speak, Read, Write)
Job Description:
- Provide assessment, treatment, and education in areas such as independent living, community reintegration, functional cognitive retraining, upper extremity function, perceptual activities, assistive equipment, and splinting/positioning mechanics.
- Evaluate patients, schedule and establish appropriate treatment goals and anticipated outcomes, and deliver skilled physical assessments and treatments effectively.
- Delegate and supervise effectively within the scope of authority to students, assistants, and technicians.
- Reassess patient progress, revise treatment plans, and modify goals when appropriate.
- Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization and abide by service behavior standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
