JOB SUMMARY:
Defines, develops and manages certification requirements in support of Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs) obtained and held by Dassault Falcon Jet Organization Designation Authority (ODA).
Coordinates FAA/DER approvals for non STC alteration activity.
Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for certification requirements
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
Prepare and maintain project plans for STC Certification deliverables
In support of STC and certification projects, prepare and coordinate ODA/FAA approval of:
NON-PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
Assist ODA Administrator with the administrative requirements of the ODA to include but not limited to :
o Reporting requirements
o Monitoring Unit Member activity and training compliance
o Management of ODA records and recordkeeping
o Perform other related activities as directed by supervision.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
B.S. degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in certification of aircraft and/or modifications
Thorough understanding of FAA FAR P art 25 certification requirements
Familiar with the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) certification requirements
Familiar with STC requirements and activities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc...)
Proficient in composing technical documentation and reports
Good written and verbal communication skills
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering
FAA-DER Certification in Electrical and/or Mechanical Systems
Prior experience with Designated Alteration Station (DAS) or Organization Designation Authority (ODA)
Ability to develop and deliver training materials in support of certification activities
Prior auditing experience and/or certification
Familiarity with Dassault or similar class of Part 25 business aircraft
Familiarity with Part 25 Avionics and Electronics Systems
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Must be able to work in office and hangar environment.
Must have good eye/hand coordination and must be able to work at computer terminal/screen for long periods of time.
Must not be sensitive to noise (rivets being bucked, aircraft engines, etc.) and must be able to climb into various areas of the aircraft being completed.
Must be able to climb stairs.
Occasional travel to MRO and vendor locations

- Conformity Inspection Plans
- Flammability Test Plans
- Ground Test Plans
- Electromagnetic Interference Test Plans
- Flight Test Plans
- Instructions for Continues Airworthiness
- Aircraft Flight Manual Supplements
- Installation Instructions
- Electrical Load Analysis
- Weight and Balance Documents
- System Safety Analysis and/or Functional Hazard Analysis Reports
- Equipment Qualification Reports
- Issue Papers and Equivalent Level of Safety Reports
- Prepare and coordinate PMA Assist Letters
- Prepare and submit requests for foreign validation of Dassault STC's
- Issue and Track Letters of Authorization (LOA) for Dassault STC's
- Coordinate preparation and distribution of STC data packages to LOA holders
- Coordinate preparation and distribution of updated materials to LOA holders.
- Conduct Internal Audits, prepare audit reports and manage corrective action activities.
- Maintain library of FAA Guidance Material
- Develop and deliver certification related training for internal and external stakeholders
