Description:

Ideal Tridon Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced OEM Key Account Manager to develop and manage key relationships within the heavy-duty truck and automotive OEM sectors. This role is specifically focused on Daimler Truck and PACCAR, and will be responsible for driving sales growth, technical collaboration, and long-term business development. The ideal candidate will be based in the Seattle or Portland area to strengthen relationships with key accounts and provide hands-on support.

Key Responsibilities

Account & Relationship Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for Daimler Truck, PACCAR, and other key OEM accounts.
Build and execute strategic account plans to increase revenue and market penetration.
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the heavy-duty truck and automotive sectors.

Sales & Business Development:
Present engineered clamp solutions to customers, ensuring technical and commercial alignment.
Work closely with internal engineering, sales, and manufacturing teams to develop tailored solutions.
Drive new business acquisition, meeting or exceeding annual sales targets.
Provide detailed quotes, cost estimates, and commercial proposals for customer programs.

Technical & Program Support:
Collaborate with engineering teams to support design reviews and product integration.
Develop an in-depth understanding of metal forming, stamping, and roll-forming manufacturing processes.
Lead and manage multiple sales programs, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.

Forecasting & Reporting:
Maintain and update the OEM project database, tracking key opportunities and progress.
Provide regular reports on sales performance, customer developments, and market trends.
Coordinate with management to align sales strategies with company objectives.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
6+ years of experience in automotive and heavy-duty truck OEM sales, with a focus on Daimler Truck and PACCAR.
Strong understanding of metal forming, stamping, and roll-forming manufacturing.
Proven ability to read blueprints, analyze part tolerances, and support engineering design reviews.
Proficiency in quoting, pricing strategies, and program management.
Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
Highly motivated, results-driven, and capable of managing multiple projects.

Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in engineered component sales (e.g., clamps, fasteners, brackets, or similar products).
Technical background in mechanical engineering, manufacturing processes, or product development.
Based in or willing to relocate to Seattle, WA, or Portland, OR for close proximity to key customers.
