We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead our Austin office focusing on Land Development projects. The ideal candidate will have 13+ years of experience in land development design, covering commercial and single-family projects. This individual will hold a Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license and bring proven expertise in managing projects, leading teams, and cultivating client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with other Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, and other staff to perform the following duties:

  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the Austin office, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Oversee land development projects from concept through completion, ensuring quality, adherence to timelines, and budget control.
  • Provide leadership to a team of engineers and technical staff, fostering growth and ensuring high-performance standards.
  • Manage and expand a client portfolio, ensuring exceptional client service delivery.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and public officials to ensure project success.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring the financial health of projects and office operations.
  • Conduct market forecasting and strategic planning to align with regional and company goals.
  • Lead hiring and onboarding efforts, ensuring the acquisition of top engineering talent.

Requirements
  • 13+ years of experience in land development design.
  • Active Texas PE license.
  • Proven experience in team leadership and staff management.
  • Track record of successfully managing land development projects from start to finish.
  • Strong business development skills with the ability to win work and grow client relationships.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, market forecasting, and hiring.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a leadership team.
