Job Description:
Sr. IDM System Engineer Overview:
- Responsible for the efficient and reliable operation/support of multiple, complex, critical production applications related to identity and access management (CA IDM and OIM).
- Provides technical leadership for complex, large-scale applications spanning multiple functional areas and technical environments with high corporate impact.
- Recognized as a subject matter expert by the business unit and IT on understanding of the business or function for which the application is designed.
- Monitors application performance against user requirements and takes appropriate action when gaps exist between the two.
- Demonstrates expert level problem solving, business decision-making, and functional area knowledge.
- Utilizing appropriate metrics troubleshoots and resolves complex technical problems impacting the applications performance.
- Provides continuous improvement thought leadership in DR processes for applications, costs of service profile for applications, application performance, and general application health.
- Mentors and provides functional/technical leadership and work direction to application support staff.
- Acts independently and is competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of application support.

- Exhibits expert level proficiency in analysis, design, and support processes plus, exhibits expert level knowledge of multiple technical areas that enable the analyst to serve as the highest-level resource in the application support area.
- Ensures business needs and technical solutions meet budgetary goals.
- Competent in business knowledge of assigned area and technical areas that support the business applications.
- Coordinates highly specialized or technical project assignments.
- Performs work at an expert level in support of applications.
- Acts in a lead role for many of the large efforts the team is working on.
- Monitors application performance against user requirements and takes appropriate action when gaps exist between the two.
- Analyze system requirements and be able to implement, configure and test applications.
- Coaches' application staff in the application of best practices, principles, and tools.
- Advocates personnel development and cross training and understands the importance of including these programs in the planning of processes/projects.

- Mentors other individuals on methods of enhancing their leadership skills.

Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Additional Requirements:
- Experience with Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) 11g or 12c setup, configuration, support and administration required.
- Experience with CA IDM 14.3 setup, configuration, administration and day to day operations/support desired.
- Experience with RHEL 8.x, Weblogic 12c, Oracle database and SQL is desired.
- Experience in command-line scripting required (Bash, Shell Scripting, Powershell).
