Job Description
This RN position provides clinical support to the providers in the Medical Oncology Clinic of the Coborn Cancer Center. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: patient assessment, side effect management, telephone triage, chemotherapy orders and validation, chemotherapy teaching, and management of the Medical Oncology Clinic patient throughput. Age-appropriate patient care (primarily indirect care) is provided by working with physicians, dietitians, social workers, pharmacists, and members of the multidisciplinary team. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Maintains professional competencies by attending educational programs, participates in professional organizations, subscribing to the reading professional journals or other appropriate activities.

Relocation assistance requirements: Must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare/Carris in the last 9 months. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away from CentraCare Plaza and relocate to within 30 miles of it.

Schedule
- Full-time | 72 hours every two weeks | Onsite at Coborn Cancer Center
- Days | Monday-Friday | 7:30am-5pm
- No weekends, holidays, or on-call!
Pay and Benefits
- Pay based on experience and degree
- Associate/Diploma in nursing starting at $40.33 per hour
- Bachelor's in nursing starting at $41.34 per hour
- Master's in nursing starting at $42.37 per hour
- Pay range: $40.33 - $60.50 per hour
- $3,500 hiring bonus for eligible candidates!

Qualifications
- Graduate from a nursing program required
- RN MN Licensure required, BSN required within 3 years upon hire
- A minimum of 2 years of Oncology nursing experience preferred.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required prior to completion of unit orientation
- National Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN) preferred
- Professional membership preferred
- Obtain Oncology Nurse Society (ONS) Chemotherapy provider card within 6 months of hire. Current ONS provider card must be maintained at all times.
