Onsite OneShield Developer

As Onsite OneShield Developer working on OneShield Policy, Claims and Billing Systems-Application Responses:

• Resolve and communicate the ongoing tickets (P1 and P2's) within the provided SLA time and provide resolution on the vFire tickets logged by operations and business teams in an onshore-offshore model in Iterative methodologies.
• Reviewing requirements provided by business and provide inputs from development perspective for incidents and issues reported.
• Conducting and participating in triage meetings with operations, business team and technical team for requirement, identifying complexities, issues and challenges.
• Track and prepare daily RAG Status Report with operations and business team for issues/problems reported. Analyse issues and provide workarounds in a timely manner while reporting defects to development team in JIRA.
• Communicating with project managers as to the progress of RAG report open items and working with Interface teams as needed.
• Monitoring the daily batch jobs that includes renewal, document and payment processes etc.
• Create SQL queries & stores procedures to identify impacted policies & customers for any incidents and issues report and communicate back to operations and Business teams.
• Preparing Unit test scripts, component test scripts, user test scripts and incident logs for issues and incident fixes testing purposes.
• Design, articulate processes while working with Architecture team and update technical documents.
• Review and work on release management activities.

OneShield Designer and SQL Developer job duties

• Lend subject matter expertise for OneShield application/projects by providing specificity to the appropriate architecture, object model, system design and interfacing requirements using OneShield Designer and SQL Developer for PL/SQL packages/procedures catering to Hiscox Commercial Lines of Products.
• Analyse business/defect requirements for solution definition & metadata configuration in OneShield.
• Responsible for end-to-end application development for PAS, UI, Rating, Forms, Workflow and Integrations in OneShield Policy Administration system.
• Correcting User policies by writing SQL scripts and updating the policy object
• values in Oracle tables of OneShield
• Guide & mentor project team members for OneShield product configuration.

Understand and apply ValueMomentum specific OneShield practice methodologies and best practices job duties

• Using Valuemomentum OneShield best practices to identify Defect patterns, Core & production defects during OneShield application releases
• Leverage existing VM solution approach and process to analyse, fix, test and code deployment into production and PROD Replica environment
• Apply VM Delivery execution approach for successful implementation includes Requirement and Planning, Analysis and Design, Implementation and Quality Assurance
