The University of Illinois atChicago, Department of Medicine is actively recruiting a clinically-orientedhepatologist at the level of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor(rank/non-tenure commensurate with qualifications) to grow our liver center andtransplant program. MD degree (or equivalent) and experience in clinicalhepatology is required. Experience in transplant hepatology or a separatefellowship for transplant is considered a major plus. Management of end stageliver disease, viral hepatitis and liver cancer constitutes a major part of ourinpatient and outpatient practice. UIC is a large liver transplant center andis looking to expand its outreach substantially.
