Nocturnist Hospitalist (Open Rank) - Hospital Medicine
The Division of Hospital Medicine in the Department of Medicine, Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio (UTHSA) is currently seeking a Nocturnist Hospitalist. This position will hold a faculty appointment of Assistant Professor/Clinical, Associate Professor/Clinical or Professor/Clinical dependent on the applicant's level of experience.
This position involves clinical work on housestaff and non-housestaff services at University Hospital as well as admissions, cross-cover, and participating in medical student and resident education and other scholarly activities. Qualified candidates must have a MD or DO degree, have completed 3 years of an ACGME-certified Internal Medicine residency and be board-eligible or board-certified in Internal Medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). In addition, candidates must be licensed by the Texas Medical Board.
