Summary
The School of Business, Economics, & Technology (SBET) is seeking to fill a tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank in Finance.
Expectations include a commitment to high-quality teaching at the undergraduate, masters, and/or Ph.D. levels, scholarship leading to conference presentations and refereed journal publications, and university and community service. The start date for this position is January 2025.
Responsibilities
Qualifications
A PhD or DBA, in field, at the time of appointment
Demonstrated record of recent scholarly activity (or for recent graduates, demonstrated promise of high-quality future scholarly activity).
Demonstrated record of successful teaching.
A willingness to teach in both traditional and asynchronous online formats.
Evidence of effective written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Faculty are responsible for developing lectures, demonstrations, assignments, and enrichment activities to successfully deliver course content in their academic unit.
- Faculty will teach coursework in the area of Finance
- Maintain regular office hours for advising students
- Participate in events and initiatives aimed at meeting departmental and divisional recruitment and retention goals.
- Accept assignments on committees, sponsor student activities, and actively participate in University life.
- Support the institution's Christian mission, including attendance of chapel services, scheduled or called meetings, commencement programs, and Faculty Forum meetings.
- Provides a Christian role model for students.
- Maintains a strong interest in the pursuit of knowledge and shares it with students and scholars.
- Promotes the discipline on and off campus and attracts students to the field.
- Participates in academic unit meetings and cooperates with other members of the Faculty.
