Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure architectures for Java applications on OpenShift.
- Develop architectural blueprints and detailed documentation to guide development teams.
- Ensure alignment with industry best practices and company standards.
- Lead the deployment, configuration, and management of OpenShift clusters.
- Optimize OpenShift environments for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using OpenShift tools and integrate with existing DevOps processes.
- Provide technical leadership in the development and deployment of Java applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure code quality, performance, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Java applications.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers.
- Mentor and guide junior architects and developers.
- Participate in architectural reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing, OpenShift, and Java development.
- Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve application performance and developer productivity.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall architecture and development processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Architect in a Java applications environment.
- Expertise in OpenShift, including deployment, configuration, and management.
- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, and related technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in OpenShift or related cloud technologies.
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization.
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
