3+ years of relevant OpenShift architecture experience

Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure architectures for Java applications on OpenShift.
• Develop architectural blueprints and detailed documentation to guide development teams.
• Ensure alignment with industry best practices and company standards.
• Lead the deployment, configuration, and management of OpenShift clusters.
• Optimize OpenShift environments for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using OpenShift tools and integrate with existing DevOps processes.
• Provide technical leadership in the development and deployment of Java applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure code quality, performance, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Java applications.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers.
• Mentor and guide junior architects and developers.
• Participate in architectural reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing, OpenShift, and Java development.
• Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve application performance and developer productivity.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall architecture and development processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Architect in a Java applications environment.
• Expertise in OpenShift, including deployment, configuration, and management.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, and related technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in OpenShift or related cloud technologies.
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization.
• Familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
