Job Description
Job Title: Perioperative Registered Nurse

Job Specialty: Operating Room - Critical Need

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Day - 10x4 - 07:00 AM

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Experience: 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience

License: Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided

Certifications: Basic Life Support

Must-Have:
- ACLS certification

Job Description:
- Provide perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Circulate and scrub in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and adherence to sterile techniques.
- Collaborate with surgical and healthcare teams to deliver optimal patient care outcomes.
- Utilize critical thinking and decision-making skills in fast-paced surgical environments.
- Demonstrate proficiency in pre-op area skills and IV start skills.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and standards of nursing practice.
- Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field, three to five years of operating room experience, CNOR certification, and advanced life support certifications.
