What You'll Be Doing:
- Work on creating strategies (What) and tactics (How) for the Operations department to meet the global impact (Goals) of the company.
- Foresee and analyse potential budget KPI deviations to promptly act to mitigate or minimise the impact.
- Lead or work as a team member in the company's strategic projects to achieve the set goals and meet deliverables in the defined timelines.
- Staying up-to-date with the developments and improvements in business and thinking on the holistic picture on the impacts to modify and adopt for the changes in the Operations department to make it seamless and/or improve our customers' experience.
- Use of Lean tools for systematic problem solving focused on sustainable improvements in the Operation departments.
- Practice DMAIC focused on improving project management efficiency and effectiveness.
- Developing process enhancement strategies using the Value Stream Mapping tool and working with the team to achieve the desired future state.
- Create process standards through work study tools and help in standardising and rolling out the best practices throughout all facilities.
- Developing the Operations team's lean thinking, leadership mindset and behaviours to drive a continuous improvement culture.
- Collaborating and communicating with other departments such as Quality Assurance and Product Development teams about the improvements and process changes for ensuring the customers get the right quality products on time.
- Training, mentoring, and guiding team members in new processes and in lean manufacturing.
- Clearly communicating with employees to develop the most motivating work norms and ensuring their support in all changes.
What We Are Looking For:
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management or industrial engineering is preferred.
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is a must have.
- Knowledge on work study in the areas of time and motion studies.
- Three years of experience in process optimization, operational excellence, or continuous improvement role in the manufacturing industry (food manufacturing is preferred)
- A sharp eye for identifying weak points in processes and organizational structures.
- A strategic and analytical mindset.
- An excellent communicator with good presentation skills.
- Data analysis ability and knowledge on MS Excel or Google Sheets.
