$103,000 - $143,000 annually in Colorado, or the equivalent in Texas

Plastic Molding Technology (PMT) manufactures high precision plastic parts for automotive, telecommunications, medical device, renewable energy, and industrial customers. The primary manufacturing processes are injection molding and thermoforming. PMT has ~100 injection molding presses at its two primary manufacturing locations in El Paso, TX and Centennial, CO (a suburb of Denver). A third facility in Longmont, CO (a suburb of Denver) provides in-house repair and fabrication of tools & dies.

What you'll do:
- Responsible for Operational Excellence, including lean initiatives, continuous improvement and compliance
- Responsible for managing Safety and Quality team in Texas and Colorado
- Enhance customer satisfaction through investigations of concerns to root cause and corrective and preventative action
- Drive performance in Quality, Safety, Service and Efficiency
- Lead projects aimed at improving operational efficiencies and cost reductions
- Assist organization in the development of methods, policies and procedures to ensure high quality, efficient operations
- Develop and provide training on the philosophy of continuous quality improvement
- Recommend and manage all accreditation and certification initiatives and activities, including consulting on and aiding with initial and ongoing quality improvement and accreditation processes to partner organizations
- Assist in the development, implementation and management of KPIs throughout the organization
- Perform other duties as assigned
What we're looking for:
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or related field preferred
- ERP system knowledge such as SAP or IQMS preferred
- Lean Six Sigma required
- ISO experience required
- Strong business acumen
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel ~25%
