Operations Analyst, Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED)

QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting an Operations Analyst,Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED), to join our team at the Pentagon, Arlington, VA to support our HQDA G-3/5/7 Support Services contract.

Duties:

• Assist with coordination and synchronization of C-IED policy, doctrine, operations, and analytics.
• Provide talking points, recommendations, and review Policy and Strategy revision to AR 11-41 (C-IED Program), the Army Counter-IED Strategy, and the Army's C-IED Annual Report.
• Participate in the C-IED IPT and inform government leads of any concerns or friction points within the C-IED community of interest.
• Assist the government with writing EXORDs, Fragmentary Orders (FRAGOs) and other correspondence; create FORM 5's either via ETMS2 or in paper and assist the Government in the staffing of taskers outside of the ETMS2 system, in both NIPR and SIPR environments.
• Engage with OUSD on the Executive Agent status of the C-IED Program.
• Adjust work efforts as required to meet mission requirements.
• Draft meeting EXSUMs for review; and track and coordinate any meeting due outs.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Detailed-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Must be able to work within Government-provided software packages to include MS Office products (Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Excel).
• Must be able to think critically and apply analytical methodologies to raw data to present clear and precise recommendations.
• Must be able to clearly articulate analysis through both oral and written communication.
• Ability to focus on Mission requirements while tracking multiple competing priorities.
• Experience working in headquarters environments on the Army/Joint Staff and/or Major Army Commands.
• Proficient in planning and execution of working groups.
• Operational experience using standard automated toolsets to monitor database performance and maintain database operation.
• Must have experience with Army policy.
• Working knowledge of the Army C-IED program, including information from AR 11-41 (C-IED Program), the Army Counter-IED Strategy, and the Army's C-IED Annual Report.

Required Clearance:

• ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Top Secret w/ SCI eligibility

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5 years of relevant experience.
• Military experience preferred.

Travel:

Less than 10 % travel is expected for this position.

Work Environment:

This position will be co-located with the customer and other contractors in Government office spaces. While not generally authorized, telework may be required due to exceptional circumstances (extreme weather, pandemic, etc.).

• Be independently mobile.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers and customers.
• Withstand prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and computer use.
• Climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours.
