Role Description:
- Drive all aspects from Development to O&M support to ensure the success of the operational release
- Lead interdisciplinary TI release team and execution of the release
- Establish, and then manage to, the operational checklist
- Work with the system teams to create a systems release schedule to ITE (Functional Integration Plan)
- Drive issues impacting the release to resolution.
- Escalate issues to management. Where scheduling conflicts exist, work with necessary teams to determine options and recommendations for resolution
- Fully understand the operations and the functionality of the applications that are integrating
- Establish and lead business rhythms required for the operational release
- Strong Project Manager with exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Extensive experience leading individuals, teams and technical initiatives
- Substantial prior experience servicing as Release and/or Systems Manager on a large-scale, enterprise environment (preferably for government-system)
