What are you going to do
- Set and implement operational goals for mill and storage facilities.
- Ensure product quality and optimal productivity.
- Manage grain procurement, logistics, and inventory.
- Lead and develop staff, including training and performance management.
- Oversee budget, financial performance, and capital projects.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, OHS, and regulatory requirements.
- Foster labor relations and participate in union negotiations.
- Supervise contractor activities and approve financial transactions.
Essential skills and knowledge
- Post-secondary education in business, engineering, or agriculture.
- 7+ years of management experience in processing or manufacturing.
- Strong leadership, financial management, and regulatory compliance knowledge.
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and union environments is an asset.
- Experience working in a unionized environment is an asset.
