Operations Manager

Marucci Sports is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Operations Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations in Geismar, Louisiana. This key role will drive efficiency, quality, and productivity within our production facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee Manufacturing Operations: Manage both custom apparel production and general manufacturing processes, ensuring they align with high-performance standards.
• Lead Production Teams: Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, motivating teams in both custom apparel and general manufacturing.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement strategies to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency across all areas of production.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality standards in both custom apparel production and general manufacturing.
• Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels for both custom apparel materials and general production supplies to meet demand and minimize waste.
• Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers for timely delivery of materials and components.
• Production Planning: Develop and execute production schedules that align with customer demand and resource utilization.
• Data Analysis: Analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
• Team Development: Provide training and development opportunities for all production team members to enhance performance and skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with a focus on both custom apparel and general production.
• Proven track record of leading and managing production teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control principles, and industry best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
