Position Overview: The Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the C-Suite executive team to ensure efficient operations of Walsingham Group. The Ops Manager will act as a strategic planner, and operational leader, streamlining processes and fostering collaboration across departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the defense contracting industry, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:
- Align with the C- Suite leadership team to develop and execute the company's strategic goals and initiatives.
- Monitor the progress of key projects and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee day-to-day HQ operations to ensure smooth workflow across all departments.
- Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to enhance productivity.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure organizational success.
- Act as a liaison between the C-Suite and other staff members, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability across teams.
- Organize and lead staff meetings, team building and ensuring actionable outcomes and follow-ups.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to support professional growth.
- Assist in managing relationships with clients, partners, and government agencies.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and contractual obligations across the departments.
- Support proposal development as needed.
- Lead or oversee high-priority initiatives and ad hoc projects, ensuring successful execution.
- Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making on critical issues.
- Be willing to backfill and support your staff when in need.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in a leadership or management role, preferably within the defense contracting or related industry.
- Strong understanding of government contracting processes and regulations (e.g., NIST/CMMC/DCAA/FAR/DFARS).
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Proficiency in using productivity tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Office, project management tools).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Understanding of security procedures and compliance requirements across multiple domains.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of adaptability.
- Ability to obtain a TS/SCI Security clearance.
