Our growing operations in Ventura, CA, are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our dynamic team and drive operational excellence. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of lean manufacturing processes, demonstrated success in delivering world-class customer satisfaction, and a proven record of using innovative ideas to drive continuous improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage, support, and direct the plant operations leadership team in achieving safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance goals.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and gain buy-in from the operations team.
- Lead and grow daily Gemba processes.
- Align processes, resource planning, and department goals with overall business strategy.
- Champion continuous improvement activities.
- Develop an operational improvement roadmap with site management.
- Drive profitability through team collaboration, focusing on waste elimination.
- Coach and support leader standard work, operational standard work, problem-solving, Kaizen, 5S, and TPM across the facility.
- Prepare and maintain production reports.
- Monitor and review staff performance, organizing necessary interventions for improvement.
- Manage and drive current projects supporting the strategic plan.
- Collaborate with peer groups across multiple locations to implement best practices.
- Build and maintain a culture of trust among direct reports, associates, and peer groups.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact well with customers.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth industry; willing to be hands-on and take initiative.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop others as leaders.
- Must be able to display servant leadership qualities and lead through empowerment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High sense of urgency.
- 5+ years of first-level supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's degree in business or engineering preferred; requirement may be waived for candidates with extensive, relevant experience and a demonstrated strong career trajectory.
- Lean/Continuous Improvement Certification is ideal.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Experience with ERP software and reporting tools (JDE preferred).
