Operations Manager
Exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager with a well-established, industry leader in Environmental Services.
In this role you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Roll-Off and other lines of transportation business in Southern California, providing multi-departmental leadership and operational management to establish and achieve performance & productivity metrics, as well as drive cost management processes.
Successful candidates will have a history of demonstrated success in the transportation and/or logistics industry, experience managing & coaching drivers, good computer skills, and a solid understanding of the waste industry (preferred).

Position Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations, maintain performance standards to consistently achieve productivity metrics.
- Monitor budget and operating metrics while optimizing processes, procedures, and performance.
- Ensure that all facilities are in compliance with all Federal, State, OSHA, DOT and Local regulations and requirements.
- Oversee personnel needs of the locations including selecting, coaching, disciplining, and training employees and evaluating their performance. Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.
- Participate in regular P&L reviews to ensure that budgets are met; develop and implement programs for achieving optimal equipment utilization, equipment preservation, and conservative labor and material costs.
Pay rate: 90k salary

Qualifications
Candidate Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree required (Business preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Waste / Recycling or Transportation Industry experience.
- In depth knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and other related state and federal regulations.
