Truform Building Product (division of Richelieu Hardware) is currently seeking for an Operation Manager for the Concord location. Reporting to the Vice President of Specialized Divisions, the Operation manager will have the following responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in strategic planning for the operation, budgeting & Business Plans;
  • Supervision and training of customer service, warehousing and manufacturing;
  • Purchasing- maintain proper inventory levels for skus and raw materials for manufacturing, evaluate slow moving stock to maximize turns. Work with suppliers of raw materials to negotiate pricing and supply.
  • Review of Financial Statements & Reports;
  • Ensure all local regulations are met or exceeded;
  • Safeguarding of assets- the facility and the assets within and proper maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
  • Safety, security, recruitment, hiring, firing & conduct of all personnel;
  • Responsible to the local management as well as the corporate management;
  • Ensure staff receive proper training to conduct their jobs;
  • Helat & Safety -Ensure local regulations and laws are respected;
  • Ensure all KPI's are achieved;
  • Report any concerns to senior management;
  • Work with sales manager to ensure that sale reps can achieve goals;
  • Liaise with head office and management;
  • Perform all other tasks assigned by his or her immediate supervisor.


REQUIREMENTS:
  • University degree preferred;
  • Some accounting knowledge is required;
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in distribution and manufacturing specific to roll forming.
  • Entrepreneurial Business and Management skills;
  • Strong personal and organizational skills (creativity, initiative, honesty and common sense);
  • Concern for personnel and customers;
  • Proficient in Microsoft office ( word, excel & Power Point)
  • Knowledge or experience with AS/400 and JD Edwards systems.
