Operations Manager

Job Summary:
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily plant operations within a chemical manufacturing facility, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety protocols are consistently met. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, optimizing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness, and ensuring compliance with environmental and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of chemical processes, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise production, maintenance, and logistics teams.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
• Monitor KPIs and drive performance improvements across the plant.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams on process improvements and new product introductions.
• Manage budgets, scheduling, and resource planning to meet production goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in operations management within the chemical or process manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of chemical manufacturing processes and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
