AttainX is seeking an experienced Oracle 12c or higher Software Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in Oracle database structure and design, as well as a thorough understanding of both front-end and back-end development. The role will involve utilizing Agile software development principles to ensure efficient project delivery and collaboration across teams. The candidate should possess hands-on experience with Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, and a variety of other technologies and tools to support the development and maintenance of web-based applications. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience working in Agile environments or on Agile teams.
- 5+ years proficiently working in Oracle APEX 5.1/20 and Oracle PL/SQL.
- Experience with Oracle Database 12c or higher (19c preferred).
- Knowledge of front-end technologies including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and jQuery.
- Experience with Adobe ColdFusion, .NET, and Java J2EE.
- Knowledge of Oracle Forms and Reports for application development.
- Familiarity with WebServices, SOAP UI, and RESTful API integrations.
- Experience with MySQL, Linux, and Power Builder.
- Proficiency in JSP and SQL Developer tools (e.g., Toad).
- Experience working with reporting tools like Serea, Amyuni, and Compass.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government issued public trust. Excellent communication, collaboration, and written communication skills to work across teams and departments.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, SharePoint, MS, Excel, and MS Teams.
- Must be able to pass and maintain a security clearance public trust background check.
- Certification in Oracle technologies, AWS, Linux, CompTIA CYSA+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Pentest+, CompTIA Security+ highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database structures, ensuring performance and scalability.
- Develop front-end interfaces and back-end systems utilizing various programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new functionalities.
- Utilize Agile methodologies to manage projects and deliver software solutions efficiently.
- Create and maintain web applications using Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, and JavaScript.
- Ensure the functionality and performance of Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and other reporting tools.
- Integrate third-party services and APIs using WebServices, SOAP UI, and other tools.
- Troubleshoot and optimize SQL queries and scripts for maximum performance.
- Provide technical support and documentation for application development and deployment.
- Support SDLC processes including the development, documentation, testing, bug fixes required for creating and maintaining applications and frameworks resulting in a software product for the OTS portfolio of systems and emerging requirements.
- Provide expertise in support of writing and maintaining source code and all activities from conception of software functionality or change to final delivery of the software change.
- Which includes research, new development, modification, reuse, re-engineering, maintenance, or other activities that result in software products.
- Maintain software and enhancements of existing Payment Tracking applications and OTS directed projects to include Shared Services.
- Review requirements documentation for accuracy and practicality of implementation, design, and development of the application and provide support for correcting any errors identified through system testing.
- Utilize Agile methodologies that promote a modular approach to include the evaluation of interfaces and business process refinement, adaptive planning, evolutionary development, early delivery, continuous improvement and encourage rapid and flexible response to change.
