Position: Oracle Database Services (Senior Technical Specialist)

Location: Sacramento, CA

Duration: 12 Months

Minimum Skills:

Ten (10) years of experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) on Oracle database version 11g or above to include hands-on with PeopleSoft (Financials and HCM).
Five (5) years of expert experience as a DBA supporting databases on Red Hat Linux 6.x or higher.
Five (5) years of expert experience writing Unix Shell scripts.
Five (5) years of experience supporting Oracle databases on ASM (Automatic Storage Management).
Five (5) years of experience with Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) database version 11.2.0.4 or higher.
Five (5) years of expert experience as a DBA supporting databases with a size of at least 10 TB
Five (5) years of experience writing documentation (standards, best practices, procedures).
Five (5) years of experience with Oracle 11.2.0.4 or higher:

Using Tuning Pack, Diagnostics Pack and Change Management Pack and/or Automatic workload Repository (AWR).
Writing and tuning PL/SQL objects.
Supporting Oracle databases that utilize the RMAN backups to disk or other mediums.
Supporting Oracle databases using replication/materialized views.
Supporting Oracle databases using triggers.
Implementing Oracle database auditing facilities.

Three (3) years of expert experience modifying proprietary Oracle ZFS API for cloning Oracle Databases and authoring original code for this purpose
Three (3) years of experience writing scripts interfacing Oracle ZFS storage appliance with ZFS cloned Oracle databases to automate usage by Oracle DBA's.
