The Techno-Functional Consultant bridges the gap between business requirements and technical solutions by leveraging both functional and technical expertise. This role is responsible for analyzing business needs, configuring software solutions, and implementing technology-driven process improvements. The consultant collaborates with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure seamless integration, customization, and optimization of enterprise applications.
Essential Functions
- Analyzes business processes and system functionality to recommend and implement technology-driven solutions.
- Works on GL & FAH set up, including COA, calendars, ledgers and various data integrations.
- Works on AGIS Intercompany module and Intercompany accounting.
- Works with FR Studio, OTBI, SmartView, BIP Work, ADFDI and OTBI.
- Works on SQL, XML, XSLT, VBCS, App Composer and OIC interfaces.
- Configures, customizes, and integrates enterprise applications to meet business requirements.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business and system requirements.
- Works with development teams to design and test system modifications, enhancements, and upgrades.
- Provides end-user support and training to ensure effective system adoption.
- Conducts system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution to ensure software performance.
- Develops reports, dashboards, and analytics to support business operations and decision-making.
- Assists in data migration, system interfaces, and integration efforts between various platforms.
- Ensures compliance with IT security policies, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field required
- 7-9 years of experience in IT consulting, enterprise systems implementation, or software development required
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting preferred
- 8-10 Years of any Oracle ERP experience, such as Oracle EBS, Fusion or PeopleSoft etc. preferred
- 2-5 Years of experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP General Ledger & Fusion Accounting Hub preferred
- 2-5 Years of experience in Oracle Fusion Payables, Assets, Cash Management & Expenses preferred
- Oracle Cloud ERP Certifications preferred
- Strong SQL and XML working knowledge is preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong understanding of enterprise systems, software configurations, and business process management.
- Proficiency in SQL, scripting, and integration technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex business and technical challenges.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to document functional and technical requirements, workflows, and solution designs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and reporting tools.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry advancements in enterprise technologies.
Licenses and Certifications
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) preferred or
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI preferred
