Objective and Purpose:
The Oral Surgery Doctor Recruiter plays a critical role in identifying, engaging, and placing oral surgeons within supported specialty practices across the country. This role is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle-including initial outreach, candidate relationship management, interview coordination, offer negotiations, and facilitation of employment agreements.
As a trusted partner to both our internal teams and the Partner Doctors we support, this individual must demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and a deep understanding of the unique needs of oral surgery practices. Success in this role requires the ability to build strong, consultative relationships with Partner Doctors to understand their clinical environment, growth goals, and the attributes of the ideal candidate.
This position works in close collaboration with the Doctor Recruiting Specialist assigned to Oral Surgery and requires a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. We are seeking a team member who brings maturity, sound judgment, and a commitment to providing a high-touch, quality experience to both candidates and practices.

Position Base Pay Range
$115,000-$125,000 USD
Specialty1 Partners is the direct employer of non-clinical employees only. For clinical employees, the applicable practice entity listed above in the job posting is the employer. Specialty1 Partners generates job postings and offer letters to assist with human resources and payroll support provided to the applicable practice. Clinical employees include dental assistants and staff assisting with actual direct treatment of patients. Non-clinical employees include the office manager, front desk staff, marketing staff, and any other staff providing administrative duties.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Identify and attract qualified dental professionals through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and dental conferences.
- Assess the skills, qualifications, and career goals of candidates to match them with suitable job openings with Partner Doctors across the network.
- Conduct initial screenings and interviews to evaluate candidates' qualifications, experience, and fit for the specific role and organization.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with both candidates and supported practices, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
- Stay informed about the dental job market, including salary trends, demand for specific specialties, and regulatory requirements, to provide valuable insights to both candidates and practices.
- Handle administrative tasks related to the recruitment process, such as coordinating interviews
- Ensure candidates meet all necessary licensing, certification, and credentialing requirements.
- Facilitate job offer negotiations between candidates and operators to ensure a smooth transition.
- Maintain contact with placed candidates and partners to ensure satisfaction, address any issues that arise, and support retention and long-term success.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in recruiting, particularly within the healthcare or dental industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in negotiating job offers and facilitating discussions.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Strong skills in networking with potential candidates and industry professionals.
- Willingness to adapt to changing conditions and client needs, and to work flexible hours if necessary.
- Analytical mindset when approaching a process
- Must be able to work individually with little supervision and work in a team.
- Persuasive and professional written and oral communication skills
- Must be available for periodic travel as necessary
