WHY BOX NEEDS YOU

We are looking for an Org & Talent Development Manager to focus on up-leveling our performance processes by moving quickly to lead and deliver large, complex change management projects. We are a collaborative and lean team who care deeply about helping the business succeed while creating a culture where all Boxers can make an impact and grow. As a manager on this team, we expect you to challenge the way things have been in service of more effective and efficient programs, build relationships that lead to outstanding collaboration, and work alongside the rest of the Org & Talent Development team as we strive to do the best work of our careers!

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Support the Sr. Director, Org & Talent Development to define and execute the strategy around performance rigor, differentiation, and enhance Boxer's awareness and understanding of our performance systems
  • Design and continuously improve Box's performance management and development system, which includes development across all levels of performance, goal setting, career growth, as well as differentiated ratings and rewards
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Performance Management and work across, influence, and inspire stakeholders in People & Communities and beyond to deliver on our performance system in a way that is frictionless and more fully integrated into the way we work
  • Lead transformational projects for the People Partner team, ensuring strategic focus, alignment, tracking deliverables, and driving change management
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders in our People Operations, Compensation, IT and other functions to enhance planning, ensure effective change management, and improve processes
  • Leverage analytics, subject matter expertise and best practices to enhance existing programs and processes, and drive internal thought leadership and best-in-class programs
  • Advocate for and teach leaders at all levels why performance management matters and how it helps grow careers and enables employees to do their best work
  • Drive optimization and execution across a range of Performance processes to enable the health of our business, and support other Talent processes including Talent Review, Succession Planning, Employee Engagement, and Internal Mobility


WHO YOU ARE
  • 3+ years of growing responsibility in Project Management, Human Resources, Performance, Org. Development, Talent Management, or a related field
  • BA in related field or equivalent experience (Masters degree preferred)
  • Experience leading and delivering large, complex projects in talent management or a closely related HR field
  • Project management, and the ability to manage large groups of stakeholders at all levels of seniority
  • Experience managing and optimizing performance or talent processes
  • Skilled accessing, compiling and interpreting analytics
  • Enjoy a fast paced environment, juggling multiple projects and shifting priorities
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to bring together diverse views and promote collaboration and agreement


Box lives its values, with community and in-person collaboration being a core part of our culture. Boxers are expected to work from their assigned office a minimum of 2 days per week, with a focus on Tuesdays and Thursdays. $97,000-$121,500 USD
