Job Description:
- Develops, coordinates, implements, and provides identified interdisciplinary services concerned with the development and integration of behavioral and biomedical science.
- Applies knowledge and techniques to prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation.
- Independently provides services within credentialed scope of practice and serves as a lead or liaison to other support agencies.
- Acts as lead worker over lower-level providers or independently develops and implements treatment plans for clients.
- Coordinates admission, assessment, evaluation, and treatment plans of client's care cycle.
- Provides interventions with acute, more complex clients and handles cases requiring numerous factors and problems.
- Participates in establishing, implementing, and directing behavioral healthcare programs and treatment system objectives.
- Develops and designs treatment intervention techniques and procedures, and evaluates and modifies treatment systems based on client's progress.
- Evaluates performance of lower-level providers in administration of prescribed treatment plans and maintains necessary data documents to satisfy federal, state, and local agency requirements.
- Serves as an active member of treatment teams, training sessions, department procedure meetings, and policy review meetings.
- Establishes and maintains working relationships with other facilities, agencies, and support services to coordinate referrals and conduct follow-up services.
Unusual Working Conditions:
- May require unusual work schedules or arrangements and may be exposed to clients who may be potentially violent.
- May be exposed to unusual noise, odors, or contagious diseases.
- May require travel to community site under contract with Department of Mental Health.
