We are currently seeking a board certified/board eligible Orthopedic (Sports Medicine) Surgeon to join our team in Lancaster, PA.

• Employed position with WellSpan Medical Group
• Established Sports Medicine practice in the area (2 Primary Care Sports Medicine Physicians)
• 1 - 2 OR days/week
• General orthopedic call
• Large referral base (strong primary care network)

Qualifications

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
• Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
• Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

• Certification from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery or the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery. Upon Hire Required and
• Completion of an appropriate residency program. Upon Hire Required and
• Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of one or more WellSpan hospitals. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Clinical skills and knowledge of emergency medicine techniques and occupational medicine.
• Teaching skills.
