Are you an experienced Orthopedic Surgeon looking for a rewarding opportunity in a dynamic healthcare environment? Boone Memorial Health is seeking a highly skilled Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team and provide comprehensive musculoskeletal care to our patients. In this role, you will diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of orthopedic conditions, from joint injuries to fractures and musculoskeletal disorders.

At the heart of our system is a 25-bed inpatient hospital featuring a 24/7 Emergency Department, which is designated as a Level IV Trauma Center. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive orthopedic evaluations and diagnostic testing
  • Diagnose and manage a variety of musculoskeletal conditions
  • Provide both non-surgical and surgical interventions, including joint replacements, fracture repairs, and arthroscopy
  • Coordinate care with specialists and healthcare team members
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment options and musculoskeletal health
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocol development


Qualifications:
  • Active West Virginia medical license (MD or DO)
  • Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedics from the ABOS or AOA
  • Strong clinical skills and a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
  • Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
