Novant Health Pulmonary Medicine Wilmington is seeking a full-time compassionate, caring Pulmonologist to join our outpatient patient provider team.

This full-time physician should be committed to the health and wellness of the people in our community and surrounding communities by being a leader and innovator of pulmonary medicine. This practice values consist of being patient-focused, treating our patients as our neighbors, each other as our family.

Experience with Pulmonary Medicine, sleep medicine, and pulmonary hypertension, is a plus but not a necessity. Well established screening CT and nodule program.

Opportunity Highlights:
  • Work alongside an experienced team of physicians and APPs: group has 8 physicians and 7 APP's.
  • Monday - Friday schedule, no call, no holidays or weekends

Candidate Qualifications:
  • Board-certified in Pulmonary Medicine

Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Join an established group of outpatient physicians and APP's
  • Full spectrum outpatient pulmonary patients including management of COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary nodules, and sleep apnea.

Qualifications

Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required
  • Completion of an accredited residency program required
  • For specialty physicians - completion of an accredited fellowship program specific to medical specialty

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
  • Current MD license in appropriate state
  • Board certification or eligibility
  • Current DEA license required
