THE POSITION
This is a Limited Duration position with a projected 3-year assignment. Limited Duration positions receive all the same benefits as Full-Time Regular positions.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office is seeking an OVW Grant Coordinator to support expanded pretrial services through grant funding from the Office on Violence Against Women (OVW). OVW administers grant funding to develop the nation's capacity to reduce domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking by strengthening services to victims and holding offenders accountable.
This position will provide administrative support for a grant funded enhanced pretrial monitoring program. Duties will include, but are not limited to, providing support to the pretrial program, coordinating and organizing efforts to procure the Electronic Monitoring (EM) equipment and EM system training, general grant data-tracking and reporting functions. This position will serve as the central point of contact for implementing the EM system and grant-related administrative/management duties. Additionally, the OVW Grant Coordinator will lead quarterly meetings with project partners and streamline communication between partners. Project partners include the Washington County District Attorney's Office, Washington County Circuit Court, and the Family Justice Center of Washington County.
