Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Specialty: Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: AM, 10 hours (9:00 AM - 7:30 PM)

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Experience:

License: RN License

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)

Must-Have:

- Willingness to work every other weekend
- Flexible and adaptive to changing situations in a hospital environment

Job Description:

- Provide nursing care in the PACU following surgical procedures
- Monitor patients' post-operative recovery and manage any complications
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with surgical teams and anesthesiologists to ensure patient safety
- Document patient care and observations accurately and promptly
- Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and recovery
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
- Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement efforts
