Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized pain management treatment plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by supervising physicians, ensuring adherence to best practices and patient safety protocols.
- Perform procedures such as ultrasound-guided injections, Botox administration, and other pain management techniques. Must have experience with this.
- Educate patients on pain management strategies, preventive care, and overall wellness, providing health coaching as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated and multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
- Manage patient care responsibilities effectively, including follow-up care and monitoring patient progress.
Qualifications:
- Must have proficiency in Pain Management, Neurology, Orthopedic Surgery a plus.

- Strong knowledge of airway management techniques and medication administration protocols.
- Proven experience in pain management strategies and health coaching practices.
- Ability to work effectively in an inpatient setting with diverse patient populations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
- Active California License as a Physician Assistant (Required).
- Ability to commute to and work in San Diego, CA 92101 (Required).
- Willingness to relocate to San Diego, CA 92101 before starting work (Required).
